I love the water! I have 3 young children and run my own handmade clothing business. Swimming has always been a large part of my life, from taking part in squad training and competing at events, to being in and on the sea every day teaching sailing. I swim in the sea regularly at any time of year and swam the solent in 2020. I have always enjoyed teaching children and ever since stopping teaching sailing I  have wanted to get back into it. In 2021 I made the leap and I am now qualified in baby and pre school lessons and hold my STA award for swim teaching. You will see me in the pool at UKSA teaching baby and preschool and a few after school lessons. I am also helping Emma with behind the scenes admin.

 I am Dave. I have a lovely wife, three children, a grand daughter and 2 dogs. Love swimming and joined the masters when Josh was training at squads, we were up at 5:30 in the morning! This is where i trained to twice swim the solent. I have now gained the award, certificate, baby and pre school, disabled, pool and open water lifeguard qualifications. I am no longer a swimming masters but enjoying semi retirement and the holidays it brings.You will see me at after school lessons at Medina House, Urban Saints and UKSA. You may also spot me covering Baby and Preschool lessons at UKSA.

I have been a fully qualified swimming teacher for 9 years after a career change and I love it! I am extremely passionate about getting everyone to swim and stay safe around water. 

I recently moved from the mainland and  my family and I are loving island life.  Now the water is more accessible to me, I am looking forward to venturing into the water more and exploring outdoor swimming. I have always loved the water particularly with rookies (lifesaving) and diving. Though I don't have a competitive background, I am still a strong swimmer and swim regularly on my own and with family. 

I love spending time with my family and friends or travelling and finding new swimming destinations!

You will find me at UKSA or popping by to cover lessons. I hold my baby and preschool award and aquanatal yoga instructor. I regularly do courses to help give me fresh new ideas. I love teaching every age. You will often here me saying "just keep swimming".
